Mercredi 22 mars 2000 a 11 heures, a l'occasion d'une conference de presse au Grand Foyer de la Monnaie, Bernard Foccroulle a presente a la presse le nouveau directeur musical de la Monnaie, le chef d'orchestre japonais Kazushi Ono. Il y a un an le Royal Opera House Covent Garden faisait savoir qu'Antonio Pappano reprendrait la direction artistique et musicale de cette venerable maison a partir de septembre 2002. L'annonce du depart de notre directeur musical apres dix ans d'activite artistique au plus haut niveau soulevait evidemment la question de sa succession a la Monnaie. Bernard Foccroulle et Bernd Loebe ont choisi le chef d'orchestre japonais Kazushi Ono (°1960), qui en ce moment est "Generalmusikdirektor" a l'Opera de Karlsruhe (Allemagne). Bernard Foccroulle a egalement annonce qu'il presenterait a nouveau sa candidature pour un nouveau mandat de Directeur General apres decembre 2003. Avec cette candidature, il souhaite poursuivre le travail entame et confirmer le rayonnement de la Monnaie dans les annees suivantes. Kazushi Ono a signe un contrat qui commence en aout 2002 et qui, en premiere instance, court jusqu'en decembre 2003 (fin du mandat actuel de Bernard Foccroulle). Il sera automatiquement prolonge jusqu'en juin 2005 si le mandat de Bernard Foccroulle est prolonge. Kazushi Ono a dirige le 11 septembre 1999 le Concert de Gala a l'occasion du 10e anniversaire des Amis de la Monnaie. Ce concert etait en meme temps l'occasion de presenter une nouvelle generation de jeunes chanteurs belges. Un enregistrement CD de ce concert a ete realise en collaboration avec RTL-TVI. Il est vendu au prix de 499 BEF au profit de l'action "Televie" : l'occasion ideale de decouvrir le talent et le savoir-faire de Kazushi Ono. |

The 22nd of March at 11 a.m. during a press conference held in the Grand Foyer of La Monnaie/De Munt, Bernard Foccroulle has presented the opera house's new musical director, the Japanese conductor Kazushi Ono. One year ago, The Royal Opera House Covent Garden announced to the public that Antonio Pappano would assume the musical and artistic direction of this venerable house as from September 2002. This announcement of our musical director's departure after ten years of artistic activity at the highest level obviously brought up the matter of his succession at La Monnaie. Bernard Foccroulle and Bernd Loebe have chosen the Japanese conductor Kazushi Ono (°1960), who is at this moment Generalmusikdirektor at the Opera of Karlsruhe in Germany. Bernard Foccroulle has also announced today that he is going to submit his candidature for another mandate as General Director after December 2003. With this candidature he wishes to continue the undertaking he has embarked upon, and to confirm the radiation of La Monnaie/De Munt in the years to come. Kazushi Ono has signed a contract commencing in August 2002 and which will, in the first instance, last until December 2003 ( end of the present mandate of Bernard Foccroulle). It will be prolonged automatically until June 2005 if Bernard Foccroulle's mandate is equally extended. On September 11th 1999, Kazushi Ono conducted the Gala Concert for the 10th anniversary of the Amis de la Monnaie/Vrienden van de Munt. This concert was also an occasion for the new generation of Belgian singers to present themselves to the public. A CD recording of this concert was produced in collaboration with RTL-TVI. It is being sold at 499 BEF, with the proceeds going to the Televie charitable action. This is the ideal occasion for discovering the astounding talent and expertise of Kazushi Ono. |

日本人指揮者大野和士、２００２年８月からモネー劇場の新音楽監督に |

２０００年３月２２日１１時、モネー劇場のグランド・ホワイエで行われた記者会見の席上、ベルナール・フォクローは、記者団にモネー劇場の新音楽監督として日本人大野和士を紹介しました。 一年前王立コヴェント・ガーデンオペラ劇場はアントニオ・パッパーノが２００２年９月からこの由緒ある劇場の芸術・音楽監督の地位に着くことを発表しました。 １０年にわたって職にあった私たちの劇場の音楽監督が辞任するということで、当然後任を誰にするかという問題がもちあがりました。 ベルナール・フォクローとベルント・ルーベは、現在ドイツ・カールスルーエオペラ劇場の音楽監督の地位にある日本人指揮者大野和士を選抜しました。 ベルナール・フォクローは同日２００３年１２月からの新任期にも劇場支配人の地位にとどまりたいとの意向を表明しました。 これによって、すでに着手された事業を継続し、引き続いてモネー劇場の栄光を確固としたものにしたいとのことです。 大野和士は２００２年８月から始まる契約にサインしました。 この契約は当初ベルナール・フォクローの現行任期の切れる２００３年１２月までとされますが、ベルナール・フォクローの任期が更新された段階で、自動的に２００５年６月まで延長されます。 大野和士は１９９９年９月１１日にモネー劇場友の会設立十周年記念ガラ・コンサートを指揮しました。 このコンサートは同時にベルギーの新世代の歌手を紹介する機会ともなりました。 コンサートの模様はＲＴＬ−ＴＶＩとの協力によりＣＤ化され、４９９ベルギー・フランで売り出されており、この収益の一部は「命のテレビ 」の活動のために使われることになっています。 大野和士の才能と技量を発見する理想的な機会となるでしょう。 |
